Hi team,
@gauthier and I were just looking at some jobs she was running in FireCloud and a bunch of them apparently failed. The error message we see when we click on the "Failures" link states:
"JesAsyncBackendJobExecutionActor failed and didn't catch its exception."
So... that's not super helpful. After speaking with Hussein we now understand that it's a transient Google problem that will likely go away if we just rerun those jobs. Great! So let's have the error message state exactly that.
Probably this is something that needs to go into the Cromwell error message itself. Or maybe FireCloud needs to catch it somehow? Not sure which one is right (maybe both), so will leave that up to the POs!
