I created a workspace, let's call it workspace_a.
Then I loaded all the info into that workspace from load files that had 6 attributes. Three of those attributes had no data and were filled with "DELETE", and so the attribute names weren't even created within the data table.
Then I started working on the data in workspace_a and, as a result, recreated one of those three attributes and put some data in it as well.
At this point I needed to delete workspace_a because of a mistake I made and recreate it with the same name.
After I recreated workspace_a and loaded the data again (from those same original load files) I noticed that the 4th attribute was still in the table. It had no data, since the load files didn't contain data for it, but it didn't disappear.
It seems that when I deleted workspace_a, some of the attribute names weren't removed from the database, and so when I recreated it with the same name, I got the names of the old attributes, instead of new ones.
